May 2008
From
1st May 2008, M-Tech
Printers will take over from the UK office of Mylox Technologies Inc.
M-Tech are an independent, UK based
organisation but, as authorised distributors will retain substantial

This change will not negatively affect
any of Mylox's growing number of UK & European customers. It's
purpose is to simplify the day to day operation of
the UK office
which will mean better efficiency and a positive impact on the
overall levels of service and support offered. Through M-Tech, Mylox

Impact Portable Printers Now Available...
October 2007
The
impact dot matrix
versions of the Mylox
MLX8200 series portable printers have been released. They are
based on Epson's trusty M190 and M192 miniprinter mechanisms
and deliver 24 or 40 columns respectively. As with the previously
launched thermal versions they feature a high capacity Li-Ion
rechargeable battery pack. The RS232C interface is available
immediately with Bluetooth and USB versions coming soon. An IrDA
(infra-Red) version can be produced upon request. The same PSU
arrangement as the thermal models means that these impact printers can
be used as fully portable battery powered, direct AC powered for fixed
installation, or 12VDC mobile units. Again, the firmware
is programmable so we can customise the
unit to exactly meet your specification.
Portable Printer Range launched...
August 2007
Mylox
have released their own brand of portable, thermal printers. They are
based upon the same 60mm
& 80mm easy-load
thermal mechanisms as
the previously released panel mounted printers. A high capacity Li-Ion
rechargeable battery pack means that the Mylox MLX-8200 series will
out-perform many similarly classed portable printers. Initially using
an RS232C interface, Bluetooth, IrDA and USB versions will soon be
added to the line. The PSU supplied as standard is capable of running
the printers direct from an AC source even when the batteries are fully
discharged, or even removed completely! Alternatively, it can
be powered direct from a 12V DC supply. As with all Mylox
printers, the firmware is fully programmable so we can customise the
unit to exactly meet your specification. Watch out for news about
liner-less labels for use with these printers.
Epson M190 mechanism based 24 column & M192 based 40 cpl versions will follow shortly.

It's all go for CeBIT 2007...
Mylox exhibited
at CeBIT in Hannover this

of panel mount and portable printer products. It will also served to
introduce Mylox to the European marketplace. More details can be found
in our events section.
Full production commences...
January 2007
We
have now begun manufacturing and stocking
our own brand of
panel mount printers. Call today
to get pricing and availability. Chances are we can meet most short
timeline requests. We have stock of 60mm or
our 80mm thermal

in both
both panel mount and portable formats. Impact versions are in
production.
Here we grow again...
November 2006
Mylox
has just finished moving its Texas based
headquarters
into a bigger location just a
mile up the road. The move was necessary to create space for the latest
and
greatest panel and portable printer units developed by Mylox. They will
be offered in 60mm standard or, incredibly, our 80mm unit in the same
footprint!
UK Office now taking orders...
June 2006
To
spearhead our European operations, Mylox are
establishing a
UK base to provide a local sales & support service. The idea is
not only to provide a point of contact for the UK & CET time
zones but also create a stocking facility to serve European customers
with 1 to 3 day delivery lead times.
